Karakters

We finally made it to Karakters on Simpson Bay Beach.  It is an old school bus bar and has a small menu with some of the food we would have at Grandmas house - like open face sandwiches with sprouts and Gouda cheese. They also have live music a few days of the week.  It is a relaxed spot with tables, umbrellas, lounge chairs and bean bags on the sand.  It is great for the kids to run around and burn off some more of their energy.  They have perfect Mojitos too......

we got there right before the sun was setting - late afternoons and evenings are a perfect time on the island

the bay had some good size yachts and a coast guard ship visiting

the boys ran down to the beach to the big comfy chair

the yachts in the afternoon glow were beautiful

the boys were trying to avoid mama's camera

it is always fun to try new places when family are visiting

more good family time - thank you Grammy and Boompa - we hope to make it back there soon
